Experimental microbial biogeochemistry best describe André Pellerin's research interests. His work at the Center will focus on designing microbial experiments that will isolate specific biogeochemical processes and allow a better understanding of often overlooked or poorly understood portions of microbial metabolisms. He will also investigate how to detect these processes in marine sediments. Stable and radioactive isotopes are intended as tools to achieve this goal.

André Pellerin obtained his Ph.D. in 2015 from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
